Funeral services for Helen Maxwell Stricklin, 69, of 319 Simpson Street, Hartselle, were conducted Wednesday, December 21, at 2:30 pm at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Walker officiating.


Burial was in Antioch Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing.


Mrs. Stricklin died Monday, December 19, at Huntsville Hospital. She was a native of Morgan County, a member of Faith United Methodist Church and a member of the Eastern Star in Somerville.


She is survived by her husband, Jack Stricklin of Hartselle; three sons, Ronnie Maxwell of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Derrick Maxwell of Decatur and James Maxwell of Hartselle; two daughters, Debbie Nungester of Augusta, Ga., and Lydia James of Falkville; her father, William Murley Puckett of Falkville; three step-daughters, Lisa Brannon of Hartselle, Patricia Byrd of Gastonia, N. C., and Elaine Dunaway of Somerville; two brothers, Harold Puckett of Holly Pond and Norman Puckett of Hartselle; four sisters, Annie Turner of Trussville, Mirene Breeding of Decatur, Gayle Mobley of Oden Ridge and Etta Mae Thompson of Falkville; 21 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
