ASHFORD - Timothy Ray Gamble, a resident of Ashford, died Tuesday, February 16, 2016, at his home. He was 58.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, February 18, 2016, in the Cedar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, near Ashford, with Reverend William Irwin officiating. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends following the services.
Mr. Gamble, son of the late Luther Hill Gamble and Miriam Drinkwater Gamble, was born and reared in the Cedar Springs Community, where he lived most of his lifetime. He was formerly employed by Pemco Air World Services at Napier Field. Mr. Gamble was a member of the Cedar Springs Baptist Church.
Surviving relatives include three sons, Kevin Gamble (Toni), Glenwood, AL; Colby Gamble and Jake Gamble; five sisters, Patricia Gainey, San Antonio, TX; Peggy Blocker (Darril), Newton, AL; Myra McCraney, Ashford; Carolyn Jernigan, Dothan; and Becky Prevatt (Ronnie), Dothan; two brothers, Dennis Gamble (Earlene), Cottonwood; and Wayne Gamble (Carrie), Headland; two grandchildren, Katlyn Gamble and Caleb Gamble.
