George Alvin Goneke

Mr. George Alvin Goneke, age 79 of Castleberry passed away on Monday, June 1, 2020. He was an Army Veteran and lifelong member of Belleville Baptist Church. Mr. Goneke was an avid Alabama football fan and was a driver for UPS.
He was preceded in death by his parents George William Goneke and Hattye Crutchfield Goneke.
Mr. Goneke is survived by two daughters Sandra Sharp of San Francisco and Sherry Ryoul of Weston, FL; one brother Mickey Goneke of Mobile, AL; one sister Carol Mason of Mobile, AL; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be announced at a later time. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Belleville Baptist Cemetery Fund. Johnson Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements. Visit our online registry at www.johnsonfh.org
