Chester B. Arrington, 67, of Cedartown, GA died Tuesday, July 22, 1975, at his residence after a short illness.
Services were July 24 at 3:00 p.m. at Arrington Chapel Methodist Church with Rev. Clinton Garmon officiating. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery with Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home in charge.
Masonic graveside services were conducted by the Rock Run Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lassie J. Arrington; two sons, Thomas Arrington of Troy and Clayton Arrington of Atlanta, GA; two daughters, Mrs. B. M. (Elizabeth) Mitchell of Piedmont and Mrs. J. P. (Laura) Whorton of Marietta, GA; a sister, Mrs. C. J. Roberts of Tallapoosa, GA; a brother, Ed Arrington of Piedmont; 13 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Mr. Arrington lived most of his life in Cedartown, GA, was a Mason and a Shriner and an iron ore miner 35 years.
